Many guys from different countries go to China each year for the purpose of marrying a Chinese lady.
Foreign men and Chinese ladies have different reasons for doing this but I believe it basically comes
down to only (2) two:
(A) The man is looking outside his own country because he has had no luck in finding a good wife
locally, so a lady from a different country and culture might be the answer.
(B) The Chinese woman is wanting to leave China and have a better life.
My website does not address the reasons, nor does it want to. The marriage information on my
website is just that, information to help people marry in China. In 2002 I went to Nanning China and
was married there. At that time each Province, Autonomous Region, City, and County had their own
requirements that foreigners wanting to marry Chinese citizens had to follow. Through trial and error
I figured out what the "Nanning Requirements" for marriage were. I followed them to the letter and
we were officially married four days after registering our marriage with the Nanning Marriage Bureau.
A year later, in October of 2003, the Chinese government changed the marriage laws to a national
standard for all regions and localities. This meant that wherever in China you wanted to marry the
requirements were the same. Also changes included dropping the necessity for physical examinations
and blood tests. Although this requirement might surface again at a later date. And it seems the time
from registering the marriage to it becoming official is now much faster in as it could happen within the
same day.
After marrying and going through the immigration process that brought my new wife and son to the
United States, it occurred to me that other people might need help so I created my "Marriage in
Nanning Information Webpages". For several years these pages have helped many guys get married
and bring their wives home, and so the "Nanning Brotherhood" was created.
When it was proven to me (as of late) the same requirements for marriage in Nanning did in fact apply
to other Provinces, I decided to change the "Marriage in Nanning" pages to "Marriage in China".

show listings of women who you should watch out for, as well as my tips about e-mailing Chinese ladies.
