GUILIN ATTRACTIONS
Elephant Trunk Hill
Elephant Trunk Hill has been famous for thousands of years and is
widely promoted by tour agencies.  A circular cave can be seen below the
hill giving the look of an elephant drinking from the river.  Puxian
Pagoda on top of the hill is also famous.  Built in the Ming Dynasty, the
Pagoda, as well as Elephant Hill, have inspired many famous Chinese
poets.

Seven-Star Cave (Seven-Star Park)
Seven-Star Cave is contained within Seven-Star Park, both are popular tourist attractions
within Guilin, Guangxi. China.  The cave has a year round temperature of about 20 Celsius.
Tourists follow a 1,000 meter long concrete and stone path which winds throughout the cave.
Artificial lighting is placed to enhance rock formations. Tours are conducted hourly with
admission of 20 RMB to the cave.

Reed Flute Cave (Reed Flute Park)
Named for the reed grass used to make flutes by locals, this cave is the largest multi-level cave
in the Guilin area at around 250 meters deep.  The impressive rock formations are illuminated
by multi-colored lighting along the paths and in the huge chambers.  Tours are conducted
every 20 minutes and it takes about an hour to complete a tour.  Cave admission is 45 RMB.
