| Beihai (Bei means north and hai means sea) is a seaport and resort town located at the southern end of the Guangxi Region. Famous for its fine white sand beaches, many Chinese and foreign tourists visit it each year. Newlyweds also like to spend their honeymoons there. Area Scenic Spots: Chang Qi Park, Zhongshan Park, Silver Beach, Dashi Pavilion, Wenchang Pagoda, Dongpo Pavilion, Haijiao Pavilion, and Xingdao Lake. |

| Only 206K (125 miles) from Nanning it is easily accessible by bus or train. No direct flights, however there are direct flights from Beijing and Hong Kong. Beihai Fucheng airport: Located about 20K (13 miles) from downtown Beihai. Train service (air conditioned) between Nanning and Beihai takes on average 6 to 8 hours. Bus service (air conditioned) between Nanning and Beihai takes on average 3 to 3-1/2 hours. |
